REDYNAMISATION DES ACTIVITES REGALIENNES DANS LE HAUT KATANGA, L’ABEF-ND CONSULTE ET ECHANGE AVEC LES PARTIES PRENNANTES

Le Président du Conseil Exécutif National en visite chez le Ministre provincial du haut Katanga, en compagnie du PNSR

Une délégation de l’Association pour le Bien-être Familial et Naissances Désirables (ABEF-ND), conduite par le premier des volontaires et Président National du conseil de gouvernance, a été reçue ce mercredi 24 novembre 2021 par le Ministre de la santé du Haut-Katanga, Docteur Joseph Nsambi.

Les échanges ont gravité autour de plusieurs sujets, notamment l’apport de cette structure au ministère de la santé pour bien-être de la population.

« Notre présence dans le Haut-Katanga, tient au fait que, c’est l’une des provinces qui bénéficient des interventions de l’ABEF-ND, sur l’offre des services de planification familiale, la lutte contre les violences basées sur le genre, ainsi que d’autres questions de santé de la reproduction », a rapporté ce délégué de l’ABEF-ND au sortir de l’audience.

« Étant en séjour, il était important de présenter les civilités aux autorités, en l’occurrence le Ministre de la santé. Au-delà de ça, nous lui avons fait un état des lieux sur les activités de l’association dans la province. Je dois vous assurerez que le Ministre y a accordé de l’intérêt », a-t-il déclaré.

Et de poursuivre: « Nous en avons aussi profité, pour remonter certains défis que nous rencontrons actuellement dans la province du Haut-Katanga et le Ministre nous a promis son appui à ce que l’ABEF-ND puisse retrouver sa santé par rapport à la gestion de la structure dans la province. Mais aussi, pour que notre association puisse servir de modèle pour son implantation dans d’autres provinces du grand Katanga comme au Lualaba, Tanganyika et Haut-Lomami. »

Par ailleurs, le Représentant de l’ABEF-ND a précisé son organisation mène plusieurs activités dans la province du Haut-Katanga, notamment en matière de planification familiale avec des sensibilisations dans les communautés pour prévenir les grossesses précoces et non désirées. « Nous avons aussi l’offre des services grâce à notre clinique dans la zone de santé de la Kenya. Nous appuyons plusieurs programmes dont celui de la santé de la reproduction et celui de la santé des adolescents. Nous faisons aussi le dépistage du VIH/SIDA et le référencement pour la prise en charge. C’est sans citer nos activités sur les violences basées sur le genre autant que la prise en charge des complications en rapport avec les aavortements », a-t-il indiqué.

« Nous sommes parmi les vieilles organisations avec plusieurs décennies d’existence. Donc, nous travaillons aux côtés des autorités sanitaires depuis longtemps et nous réitérons notre engagement à pouvoir accompagner le ministère de la santé à contribuer à la bonne santé et au bien-être de la population », a conclu le Président de l’ABEF-ND.
